I believe it's actually a Finnish anti-tank rifle. The skis are there because it is so heavy, that it is easier to slide around on the snow, where the Finnish troops would have been using it.

Looks like I am going to be out there solo this year. Then again, Fortune is barely even open, so I will just be hitting Bromont a few times. I've got to say that I will miss the beast.
